“In Memory of Robert Folger Westcott”

The water trough was placed by Thomas R. Proctor in honor of his fellow Richfield Springs summer resident, Robert F. Westcott. While driving his wagon near Mt. Otsego, Westcott was thrown from the wagon. After righting the wagon, he was stricken with apoplexy and declared dead.
